Directions for Use

For Vital Tooth Whitening

1. Record the patient's pre-operative tooth shade.
2. Clean the teeth using a flour-based pumice only.
3. Place cheek retractors and protect the lips with petroleum gel.
4. Dry the teeth and apply the Gingival Barrier to both arches, slightly overlapping the enamel margins.
5. Light cure the Gingival Barrier for 10–20 seconds.
6. Attach the mixing nozzle to the POLA Office+ syringe and dispense a small amount until a uniform gel is obtained.
7. Apply a thin, even layer of whitening gel directly onto the teeth being treated.
8. Leave the gel in place for 8 minutes. A curing light may be used if desired.
9. Suction off the gel and repeat the application cycle three times (up to four cycles if required).
10. After the final application, thoroughly remove the gel, rinse, and remove the Gingival Barrier.
11. Record the final tooth shade.
